We offer a variety of professional human services from waiver services to state-funded services designed to enhance the needs of individuals who seek general guidance, support, and assistance to increase the quality of their life, health, and personal welfare. 

NC Innovations

Waiver Services
 

Community Networking

Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities find volunteer work, enroll in integrated classes,  and pay for membership in these activities.

Community Living and Support

We assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in becoming more independent, learning how to connect with others in their community, and applying skillsets such as shopping, banking, eating, bathing, dressing, personal care, hygiene, and other daily activities along with receiving extra support for health and safety reasons.

Supported Living 2

We assist disabled individuals and provide them with resources to experience life in a way that results in:

1. A safe and decent home of one’s own

2. Personalized assistance

3. Choice

4. Support from others who care about and respect the person.

Respite Services
We provide hourly Respite service that includes non-treatment and non-habilitation support to a client to provide temporary or occasional relief for regular caregivers. 

NC State-Funded Services

Personal Assistance

We assist with an individual's activities of daily living, such as  eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, bladder and bowel requirements, and taking medications. 

Developmental Therapy

We provide developmental disability services that include individually designed instruction, training, or functional developmental intervention activities based on the assessment of unique strengths and needs of the individual whether child or adult.

 

This service is designed to support the individual in acquiring skills that have not been gained during the developmental stages of life, and are not likely to be developed without additional training and support. 

 

B3 Respite

We provide periodic support and relief to the primary caregiver from the responsibility and stress of caring for children aged 3 to 21 with mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse. 

 

State Respite
We provide hourly Respite services that include non-treatment and non-habilitation support to provide temporary or occasional relief for regular caregivers. 


Community Living Support
We provide individualized service that enables an individual 16 years of age and older to live successfully in their own home, the home of their family, and we support them as active members of their community.
